The laboratory was founded in 1988 by Academician N.A. Platé (1934-2007)
We carry out experimental and theoretical research in the following areas:
- Macromolecular reactions in homo- and heterogeneous systems
- Effect of chain structure in copolymers on their properties
- Control over microstructure in amorphous and liquid-crystallline copolymers
- Stabilization of nanoparticles with polymer ligands
- Composites based on liquid-crystalline and amorphous polymers hosting metal and semiconductor nanoparticles
