Краткое описание

Лаборатория «Металлоорганического катализа» была основана в 1963 году академиком Б.А.Долгоплоском. Деятельность сотрудников Лаборатории внесла решающий вклад в разработку советской технологии производства ряда каучуков и в разработку научных основ технологии каталитической 1,4-цис-полимеризации сопряженных диенов.

Основным направлением исследований Лаборатории в наше время является изучение научных принципов создания востребованных органических материалов из нефтехимического и возобновляемого сырья, включая исследование каталитических методов получения и переработки полиолефиновых пластиков, создание природоподобных биоразлагаемых материалов, а также синтез некристаллических олигомеров и полимеров на основе олефинов и диенов. Особое внимание в деятельности Лаборатории уделяется изучению строения материалов методами колебательной спектроскопии, а также DFT-моделированию каталитических процессов, приводящим к искомым материалам и разработка эффективных катализаторов.

Исследования Лаборатории поддерживают РНФ. Лаборатория интенсивно сотрудничает с рядом российских и зарубежных нефтехимических компаний.
